3 Port Solenoid Valve/Residual Pressure Release valve VP/VG Series

  • SMC 3 Port Solenoid Valve/Residual Pressure Release valve VP/VG Series features a system in which even if one part fails, the system as a whole will still fulfill its required function, usually achieved by the incorporation of dual channels of operation.
  • The redundancy prevents the loss of the safety function when a single failure occurs and must be checked before each use, otherwise an accumulation of undetected faults can cause the loss of the safety function.
  • The main valve position detection function is used to detect inconsistencies between input signals and valve operations.
