Pepperl+Fuchs F99 Inclination Sensors Now Available with CANopen Interface

Pepperl+Fuchs F99 Inclination Sensors are now available with CANopen interface. As a result, users can easily configure and monitor the incline or tilt angle of machine elements or equipment platforms in single or dual axis applications, from 0° to 360° with accuracy of ± 0.5°, via the CANopen interface.

Engineered to deliver reliable operation in harsh environments, F99 inclination sensors feature metal mounting brackets, an outdoor IP68/69k rating, high shock resistance to 100 g and models with either 4-20mA or 0 to 5 VDC analog outputs that can represent the user-configured angle range. They feature a power supply range of 10 VDC to 30 VDC, two adjustable switching outputs and provide reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C.

Standard models incorporate pushbutton configuration allowing users to scale the output range and define the limit points, and tilt direction has independent calibration for increasing analog output for either clockwise or counter-clockwise tilt direction. Flexibility, coupled with a robust mounting frame and user scalability over the complete 360° range, promise significant value in mobile equipment, agricultural equipment, material handling, automated storage and any other application requiring inclination/tilt angle measurement.
